The studs aren't long enough so I can't even use them I got one in one side and the other I can't get it to work

I have a Jackson HS2, screws are too short to use. Luckily the thread pattern is the same as the plastic ones provided with the helmet. I've noticed most of the helmet accessories are made to accommodate the Fibre Metal headgear, not 'most' headgear.
